'Michel' Award
Altogether eight feature films and one animated film are competing for the 'Michel' Award. The Michel is endowed with 5,000 euros. A jury of children will determine the best children’s and youth film in the international competition.
Recipient 2010: J.B. Ghuman Jr. (Director) for his film "Spork"
Recipient 2009: Lisa Siwe (Director) for her film "Leuchtende Sterne"
Recipient 2008: Cathy Randall (Director for her film "Hey Hey, hier Esther Blueburger"
Recipient 2007: Cristiano Bortone (Director) for his film "Rot wie der Himmel"

The jury consists of five children age 11 to 14 who will determine the best children’s and youth film in the international competition.
